Terms and Conditions
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using SleekBoxes.com or placing an order with SleekBoxes.
1. General Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SleekBoxes.com (the "Site") and the purchase of products and services from SleekBoxes ("SleekBoxes," "we," "us," or "our").
By accessing or using the Site, requesting a quote, approving an order, or purchasing products or services from us, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms and any additional specifications, policies, requirements, or conditions applicable to your order.
If you are placing an order on behalf of a company, organization, or other entity, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on the Site and will apply as permitted by applicable law.
2. Custom Products
SleekBoxes manufactures custom packaging according to customer specifications. Products may vary by size, dimensions, materials, printing, artwork, colors, coatings, finishes, inserts, accessories, quantities, and other specifications.
Because our products are custom manufactured, customers are responsible for carefully reviewing all specifications and proofs before approving an order for production.
3. Quotes, Pricing, and Order Acceptance
Quotes are prepared based on the specifications, quantities, materials, printing requirements, finishes, production requirements, shipping requirements, and other information available when the quote is issued.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, a quotation is an estimate and may be subject to change before an order is accepted and payment requirements are satisfied.
Pricing may change because of changes to quantities, dimensions, artwork, materials, finishes, shipping requirements, production schedules, supplier pricing, material availability, or other specifications.
If a material change affects the quoted price before production, we will make reasonable efforts to inform the customer and obtain approval where appropriate.
SleekBoxes reserves the right to accept or decline an order, subject to applicable law.
4. Customer Artwork and Intellectual Property
Customers are responsible for all artwork, logos, trademarks, photographs, illustrations, text, graphics, designs, and other materials they provide or instruct SleekBoxes to use in connection with an order.
By submitting such materials, you represent and warrant that you own them or have obtained all permissions, licenses, and other rights necessary for SleekBoxes to use them to prepare, manufacture, print, and deliver your products.
You must not submit material that infringes another person's copyright, trademark, trade dress, privacy, publicity, or other intellectual property or proprietary rights.
You grant SleekBoxes a non-exclusive license to reproduce, modify as technically necessary, process, print, manufacture, and otherwise use customer-supplied materials solely as reasonably necessary to provide the requested products and services.
SleekBoxes may refuse or discontinue work involving content that we reasonably believe is unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, abusive, or otherwise inappropriate.
5. Portfolio Use
We may request permission to photograph or display completed custom packaging as part of our portfolio, website, marketing materials, or examples of our work.
Customer-specific designs will not be intentionally published in our portfolio without the customer's consent.
6. Artwork Requirements
Customers should provide artwork according to the technical requirements communicated by SleekBoxes. Unless otherwise agreed, print-ready artwork should generally be prepared in CMYK color mode and images should generally have a resolution of at least 300 DPI at their intended print size.
RGB artwork may require conversion to CMYK for commercial printing. Such conversion can cause differences between colors displayed on a screen and colors reproduced in print.
SleekBoxes is not responsible for poor print quality resulting from low-resolution, blurry, distorted, pixelated, incorrectly configured, or otherwise unsuitable customer-supplied artwork where the issue originates from the supplied file.
7. Proofs and Customer Approval
Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing the final proof and applicable specification sheet before approving production.
The final approved proof and confirmed order specifications form the primary production reference for the order.
Before approval, customers should verify all relevant details, including:
- Dimensions and structural specifications
- Artwork and design placement
- Logos and graphics
- Text, spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Fonts and typography
- Product orientation
- Materials and finishes
- Quantity
- Shipping and delivery information
- Other specifications important to the order
Once the customer approves the final proof, SleekBoxes may begin manufacturing according to that approval.
SleekBoxes is generally not responsible for errors contained in customer-approved proofs or specifications.
8. Color Reproduction
SleekBoxes makes commercially reasonable efforts to reproduce customer-approved colors accurately. However, exact color matching cannot always be guaranteed.
Color appearance may vary because of printing methods, substrates, paper and board characteristics, ink properties, coatings, lamination, finishing processes, lighting conditions, monitor calibration, and conversion between RGB and CMYK color spaces.
Digital proofs primarily represent layout, positioning, content, and general appearance and should not be treated as an exact representation of final printed color.
Where precise color reproduction is important, customers should discuss available physical proofing, color matching, or other production options with SleekBoxes before approving production.
9. Materials and Food Contact
Unless expressly identified and confirmed by SleekBoxes in writing as suitable for direct food contact, packaging materials should not be assumed to be food-grade or approved for direct contact with food.
Customers requiring food-grade, food-safe, regulatory-compliant, or other specialized materials must communicate those requirements to SleekBoxes in writing before placing the order and before approving production.
It is the customer's responsibility to communicate any industry, regulatory, testing, certification, product-safety, or end-use requirements applicable to their packaging.
10. Production
Production begins according to the final approved proof and confirmed order specifications.
Production schedules are estimates unless SleekBoxes expressly agrees to a specific schedule in writing. Production timing may vary depending on materials, quantities, manufacturing requirements, proof approval, supplier availability, and other operational factors.
Additional information regarding production and shipping schedules is available in our Shipping Policy.
11. Quantity Variations
Custom manufacturing processes may result in minor quantity variations. Where practical, SleekBoxes may include a small number of additional units at no additional charge.
Complimentary additional units are provided as a courtesy and do not modify the ordered quantity or specifications.
12. Quality Claims and Manufacturing Defects
SleekBoxes performs quality control procedures before products are released for shipment.
If you believe your order contains a manufacturing defect or materially differs from the approved specifications due to an error attributable to SleekBoxes, you must notify us within 3 business days of receiving the order.
We may require photographs, videos, samples, or the return of affected products to investigate a claim.
If our quality control team confirms a manufacturing defect attributable to SleekBoxes, we may reproduce or replace the affected products at no additional charge.
Complete claim requirements are described in our Refund Policy.
13. Custom Orders and Refunds
Because products are manufactured specifically according to each customer's specifications, custom orders are generally non-refundable once production has started.
Costs already incurred for artwork preparation, design services, prepress work, printing plates, dies, tooling, materials, manufacturing, rush services, shipping, or other customized work may be non-refundable.
Verified manufacturing defects are generally resolved through reproduction or replacement rather than monetary reimbursement, unless SleekBoxes agrees otherwise in writing.
Please review our Refund Policy for additional information.
14. Order Changes and Cancellation
Requests to change or cancel an order should be submitted to SleekBoxes as soon as possible.
Whether an order can be changed or canceled depends on its stage of processing and production. Once manufacturing has started, materials have been committed, or customized work has been performed, some or all costs associated with the order may be non-refundable.
An order generally cannot be canceled after it has been completed, transferred to a shipping carrier, or shipped.
If a cancellation can be accommodated, SleekBoxes may deduct or charge reasonable amounts for costs already incurred, including payment processing, design, artwork preparation, prepress, materials, tooling, manufacturing, labor, shipping, or other order-specific expenses.
Any applicable cancellation amount will depend on the status of the particular order and the costs already incurred.
15. Shipping and Delivery
Production completion dates, shipment dates, carrier transit times, and delivery dates are estimates unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing.
SleekBoxes is not responsible for carrier delays or other delivery disruptions outside our reasonable control.
Customers should inspect shipments promptly after delivery and report visible transit damage within 3 business days.
Additional shipping terms are provided in our Shipping Policy.
16. Payment Processing
Payment requirements will be stated in the applicable quotation, invoice, order confirmation, or other agreement.
Electronic payments may be processed through third-party payment processors. SleekBoxes does not directly collect or store full payment card numbers or card security codes in its internal systems.
Orders may be held from production or shipment until applicable payment requirements have been satisfied.
17. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate information necessary to manufacture and deliver their orders.
This includes, where applicable, accurate artwork, dimensions, specifications, quantities, delivery addresses, contact information, material requirements, regulatory requirements, and proof approvals.
SleekBoxes is not responsible for delays, additional costs, or production issues resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, late, or subsequently changed customer information.
18. Intellectual Property of the Site
Unless otherwise indicated, the Site and its original content, graphics, text, layout, branding, photographs, and other materials are owned by or licensed to SleekBoxes and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, republish, commercially exploit, or create derivative works from Site content without prior written permission, except as permitted by applicable law.
Customer-owned trademarks, artwork, and other customer materials remain subject to their respective ownership rights.
19. Third-Party Services and Links
The Site may contain links to or integrate services provided by independent third parties, including payment providers, shipping carriers, analytics providers, or other service providers.
SleekBoxes does not control third-party websites and is not responsible for their independent content, availability, terms, security, or privacy practices.
20. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
SleekBoxes does not warrant that the Site will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty, right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
21. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SleekBoxes and its owners, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages arising from or relating to use of the Site or the purchase or use of our products or services.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability to the extent that such liability cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
22. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless SleekBoxes and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, and applicable service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and reasonable legal expenses arising from:
- Your material breach of these Terms
- Customer-supplied artwork or other content
- Allegations that materials supplied or authorized by you infringe a third party's intellectual property or other rights
- Your unlawful or unauthorized use of the Site or our services
23. Events Beyond Our Control
SleekBoxes will not be responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, transportation disruptions, carrier delays, material shortages, supply-chain interruptions, customs delays, government actions, import or export restrictions, labor disputes, public emergencies, utility failures, technology failures, or disruptions affecting suppliers or manufacturing partners.
24. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information in connection with the Site, quote requests, customer communications, and other interactions are described in our Privacy Policy.
25. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute arising from or relating to them will be governed by applicable United States law and the applicable laws of the state governing SleekBoxes, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the applicable state or federal courts, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
26. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
27. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the applicable quotation, invoice, approved proof, order specifications, Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, Privacy Policy, and any other written terms expressly applicable to an order, constitute the agreement between the customer and SleekBoxes concerning that order, except where the parties enter into a separate written agreement.
